Sunshine Plaza will welcome its newest shopfront this week, with the opening of viral smoothie and juice brand Bubbleboy.

The Brisbane-born business, from the Better Foods Family Group, will commence trading on November 1 near Yo-Chi in the Maroochydore shopping centre.

“The Sunshine Coast has such a strong health-conscious, active community – it just made sense,” a Bubbleboy spokesperson said.

“Our drinks are designed to make people feel good from the inside out and this region really celebrates that lifestyle.”

Since its first store opened in Newstead late last year, Bubbleboy has made a name for itself on social media channels, gaining attention for its aesthetically pleasing layered smoothies. It also sells certified organic juices and matcha blends.

Bubbleboy’s price point has also attracted online commenters, with smoothies priced from $15.50 and add-ons such as collagen powder, lime caviar and sea moss priced at $2 each.

On its opening day, the first 100 customers will receive 50 per cent off all drinks.
