A Coast woman is $100,000 richer thanks to a Lucky Lotteries windfall.

The Buderim resident said she was “floored” when she received a phone call advising she held the first-place ticket in the Lucky Lotteries draw on Wednesday.

Her winning entry of four random numbers was purchased at Cignall North Buderim.

When an official from The Lott broke the news, the woman let out screams of joy, declaring the prize was the best news she’d ever received.

“What?! Oh my god!” she screamed.

“Are you serious? “This is the best news I’ve ever had.

“My husband is standing next me. Honey we’ve just won $100,000!

“I’m floored. You have no idea how welcome this is.

“The prize is certainly going to come in handy. We were on our way to lunch, so we’ll have to toast a glass in celebration.”

The winning ticket was sold at North Buderim.

Cignall North Buderim owner Sonja Ogilvie said she was delighted to hear her outlet had sold its first ever first prize winning ticket worth $100,000.

“It’s such exciting news! It’s the first time we’ve ever sold a first prize-winning ticket in Lucky Lotteries,” she said.

“We’re delighted to hear we’ve changed a local customer’s life for the better.

“We sure hope we can sell more life-changing tickets in the future.

“A big congratulations to our lucky customer on their awesome win.”
