Time is running out to secure a chance at winning a $4.6 million prize home on the Sunshine Coast.

Entries for the latest Mater Prize Home draw are open until June 20, with the lucky winner to receive the keys to a luxurious country estate at Eumundi.

Proceeds from ticket sales will support Mater’s work in medical research and care, including its neonatal critical care unit. It is the 319th prize home Mater will give away since 1954.

The grand prize includes a fully furnished Hamptons-style four-bedroom, three-bathroom home with a media room, butler’s pantry, heated pool and spa, and multiple indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces.

Situated on more than 6300sqm, the property also features a separate two-bedroom self-contained cottage, fruit orchards, a vegetable and herb garden, two fire pits and a three-bay shed with water storage and three-phase power.

The home has a Hamptons-style design.

The prize also includes a Toyota Prado Kakadu, a Cub Cadet ride-on mower and $100,000 in gold bullion.

Celebrity gardener Jamie Durie, who is a Mater Prize Home ambassador, said the prize home would impress any winner.

“How good it this!” he said. “Nestled in the Sunshine Coast hinterland and just a short drive from the vibrant town of Eumundi, this home has something for everyone.

“There’s a four-bedroom house for you and a standalone two-bedroom cottage, perfect for when your friends come to stay, or you could even have extended family living close by.

“This amazing prize could all be yours, and it could be you living happily ever after.”

The prize home is at 36 Mindi Road, Eumundi, and is open daily from 9am-5pm.

Tickets are $2 and can be purchased at materlotteries.com.au. The draw is on June 25.
