Police are investigating a crash that involved a reportedly stolen car and two people who are believed to have run from the scene.

Police were called to Woombye on Wednesday at about 8.45pm, after reports of a two-vehicle crash.

Initial investigations indicated a blue Toyota Corolla was travelling north on Nambour Connection Road and a white Suzuki Swift was travelling south and the two cars collided at the intersection with McKenzie Road.

The driver and passenger of the Toyota reportedly ran from the scene before police arrived.

The 17-year-old female driver and two 17-year-old male passengers of the Suzuki were transported to hospital in stable conditions.

The Toyota was reportedly stolen from a carpark on Matthew Terrace in Caboolture after 6.30pm.

The occupants of the Toyota remain outstanding and police appealed to anyone who witnessed the incident, has information, or dashcam or CCTV footage of the area at the time to contact police.
