Parts of a popular national park, including a section of track near a renowned waterfall, are temporarily closed due to damage from flash flooding.
Recent heavy rainfall and severe weather in the Blackall Range has resulted in damage to bridges and tracks in Kondalilla National Park.
The lower part of the Kondalilla Falls Circuit – a 4.7km loop with more than 300 stairs – is among the sections that are closed.
An image provided by the Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation shows handrails on the bridge at base of the falls have been pushed over by flooding.
A DETSI media release said Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service rangers were working to assess and repair the damage.

The Picnic Creek Circuit, Kondalilla Falls Lookout, Kondalilla Falls Rock Pools and access to Flat Rock and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk remain open.
QPWS will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates when the protected areas are safe to reopen.
Visitors are being urged to check Park Alerts for up-to-date information on closures, and to obey all signs and directions from rangers.
The park, which is near Montville in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, covers 1591 hectares. It became a national park in 1945.
