The patients include a man in his 40s with head injuries, a man in his 20s with spinal injuries, and a woman in her 40s with hand injuries.

Surf and swell conditions are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as rock fishing, boating, and swimming in the following areas, particularly about exposed south facing beaches. Surf Life Saving Queensland advise that people should consider staying out of the water and avoid walking near surf-exposed areas.
