The Sunshine Coast has rapidly evolved as a sports and recreation hub during the past 10 to 15 years.
The region has welcomed new facilities and upgraded others, to accommodate a growing population and professional sports teams.
More venues are planned ahead of the 2032 Olympics, when the Coast is set to host a range of sports including basketball, football, mountain biking, marathon, road cycling and water sports.
