A Shark Tank judge and the co-founder of a multibillion-dollar business are set to inspire and motivate the region’s business community at an “invaluable” event.

Steve Baxter is well known for his role helping aspiring Australian entrepreneurs turn their pitch into a reality on the television series Shark Tank.

Now Mr Baxter will join multibillion-dollar business co-founder Dr Vu Tran and about 300 of the region’s business owners and employees at the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce’s Breakfast of Champions.

Caloundra Chamber president Michael Shadforth said the event was an invaluable opportunity for the business community to learn what mindset can grow a business on a global scale.

“It’s a chance to learn from and listen to cutting-edge business icons in a time when business is influenced by dramatic world changes both in technology advancements and economic situations,” he said.

“Our speakers will share what they’ve learned in their business ventures so you can implement similar innovations.

“If you are and employee, a business owner or an entrepreneur, this event is for you.”

As a successful investor and entrepreneur, Mr Baxter will speak on entrepreneurialism and innovation in the regions before he joins Dr Tran and chief entrepreneur Julia Spicer on a panel.

Steve Baxter will be at the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce’s Breakfast of Champions.

Dr Tran, who is the co-founder for Go1, started his company in 2009 while in high school.

He will share his story of growing his start-up tech businesses into a multimillion-dollar brand now known as a double unicorn.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with the business icons and learn where to invest their time and energy as they grow into the next business cycle.

Maple Small Business Solutions owner and Caloundra Chamber of Commerce member Tara Carman said she was excited by the event line-up and thought it was a wonderful opportunity for the local business community.

“Any opportunity that I can learn new things and pass the knowledge onto my clients to help make their business healthier, stronger and more successful the better,” she said.

The event will be held on June 23 at the Caloundra RSL. Businesses can secure individual tickets or tables of eight with registration closing on Friday, June 16.
