A country fair celebrating connection and inclusion is set to return the hinterland this month.
Now in its 14th year, A Fair Day Out has become a major inclusive community gathering celebrating creativity, talent and contributions by people with disability.
Presented by Equity Works, the free event at the Eumundi Markets will feature live music and entertainment, artisan market stalls, food vendors, children’s activities, face painting, sensory-friendly spaces and community displays.
“A Fair Day Out is about bringing people together through shared experiences. It creates opportunities for people to connect, make new friends and celebrate the strengths, creativity and achievements of people with disability,” CEO Equity Works Steph Whelan said.
The collaboration with Eumundi Markets will give visitors an opportunity to enjoy both events while supporting local businesses, artists and community organisations.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 12 from 7.30am to 1.30pm.
