A young man has died after a dirt bike crash in a national park on Thursday.

The Queensland Police Service confirmed that a 20-year-old man, who was riding a trail bike, struck a tree within Woondum National Park west of Kin King at about 3.45pm

The man sustained critical injuries and died on the way to hospital.

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the incident.

Meanwhile, the Queensland Ambulance Service stated that a person was taken to Nambour Hospital, in a stable condition, after a motorcycle crash on Porters Road at Pomona on Friday at 10.54am.

Another person was taken to Gympie Hospital, in a stable condition, after a fall from a ladder at Kin Kin at 1.30pm, while another was also taken to Nambour Hospital, in a stable condition, after a fall from a horse at Nambour at 1.51pm.
