Suspected human remains found in search for man

Police have charged a second man in connection with an alleged break and enter at a business on the main street of a Sunshine Coast town.

Two people allegedly forced entry into a venue on Currie Street at Nambour and stole a large safe, reportedly holding a quantity of cash, about 4.45am on August 7.

They allegedly moved the safe into a black Volkswagen Golf, with stolen number plates, before leaving the scene in that car.

A 33-year-old Palmview man was charged on August 10.

Police have now charged a second person, a 22-year-old Bli Bli man, with two counts of stealing, and one count each of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, face masked with intent commit indictable offence, and possess thing intended for use in connection with offence.

He is due to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on September 11.

Police thanked the public for their assistance with the appeal for information.
