A collection of waterfront penthouses with “never-to-be-built-out views” has sparked record interest from local and interstate buyers.

The luxury residences at Comino at The Cove overlook the Pumicestone Passage and offer an opportunity to secure prestige property in Caloundra’s thriving market.

Located at Pelican Waters, the move-in-ready residences have two, three or four bedrooms and boast resort-style living to “redefine” the waterfront experience.

Realm Projects managing director Shane Foley said the views were just one of the reasons these luxurious properties were causing a stir.

“No doubt about it, the views of the passage and beyond are breathtaking,” he said.

“There are very few absolute waterfront positions available like this in Caloundra or on the Coast.

There are residences with two, three and four bedrooms available.

“But it’s not just the location—the quality of the build is extraordinary. These residences genuinely raise the bar for luxurious waterfront living.”

Mr Foley said the “crown jewel” is Comino’s bespoke Penthouse 2601, a 511sqm residence that covers the entire top floor.

It features four bedrooms, soaring ceilings, expansive north-east-facing balconies and sweeping water views, plus a 760-bottle wine cellar, a six-car garage, and interiors that exude refined elegance.

“There’s nothing else quite like it,” Mr Foley said. “It’s a dream home for those who want the ultimate in comfort, space and coastal beauty.”

The development at Pelican Waters offers resort-style living.

The building, which was designed by Sunshine Coast-based award-winning OGE Architects, has access to the private marina for boating enthusiasts and is close to the nearby Greg Norman-designed golf course.

It also includes a world-class private resort-style swimming pool, easy access to local beaches and gated security.

Comino at The Cove is located close to the major health precinct of Kawana and the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, with Brisbane city and international airport one hour away.

“Caloundra is a highly sought region and a real hotspot at the moment, with some major investment projects and key redevelopments highlighting the fact that this once sleepy seaside town is quickly becoming a thriving coastal mecca, especially for those in Brisbane and Southeast Queensland,” Mr Foley said.

The penthouses feature premium quality and timeless design.

“The penthouses at Comino are attractive to those who want to live that idyllic coastal lifestyle, matched with five-star resort amenities and enduring value as construction costs continue to rise.”

Developed by Henzell Property Group, Pelican Waters continues to evolve as one of Queensland’s most desirable destinations to live, work and play.

“Pelican Waters has always been about community,” Henzell Property Group director Mclean Henzell said.

“We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built here. Comino offers more than just luxury, it’s about a lifestyle that connects you with nature, water, and like-minded neighbours.

“The finished product is exactly what we envisioned – premium quality, timeless design, and a true five-star offering that sets a new benchmark.”

Mr Henzell said Comino at The Cove marks a sophisticated new era designed to reflect the relaxed sophistication that today’s retirees and downsizers are seeking.

The completed Comino Penthouses Residences at The Cove, plus the one-off exclusive Penthouse 2601, are located at 18 Spitfire Banks Drive, Pelican Waters.
