A decades-old retail swimwear group that has outlets on a bustling tourist strip is set to change hands.

The Noosa Swimwear Collective, which comprises four thriving swim and resort wear locations, is listed for sale with RWC Noosa and Sunshine Coast.

The group includes two stores along iconic Hastings Street at Noosa Heads: Sea Elements and Poolside Swimwear. There is also an office and storage space there.

It also includes Sea Elements on David Low Way at Coolum Beach and Bikini Hut at Noosa Civic Shopping Centre at Noosaville.

Agent John Petralia said Noosa Swimwear Collective was well established with stores in prime positions, making it “more than just a retail business”.

“It’s a legacy brand built over decades, backed by excellent supplier relationships, high-traffic locations and a fully systemised operation,” he said.

“It would be incredibly difficult for a new entrant to replicate this footprint in Hastings Street, making this a unique and strategic acquisition.”

Generating an average annual turnover of about $3.65 million, RWC stated that the business has operated smoothly with a well-trained team in place.

The owners, two sisters, have established a strong operational structure that had allowed them to step back, delegating day-to-day operations to trusted long-time staff.

“The current setup is the result of over 20 years of trial and refinement,” Mr Petralia said.

“It’s a platform designed to adapt to retail trends while offering significant scope for expansion: be it new locations, brand extensions or enhanced digital marketing.”

The business is poised for further growth under new ownership, with multiple pathway options including the addition of new Australian and international brands, own-label merchandise, pop-up activations or the expansion of its online presence, which has grown organically.

Noosa Swimwear Collective boasts a range of swim and resort wear.

“With fully staffed stores, decades-long brand equity and proven performance in high-profile locations, this business is perfectly placed for a savvy investor or operator looking to capitalise on Noosa’s enduring retail strength and tourism appeal,” Mr Petralia said.
