Two people who bought Oz Lotto tickets at Noosa and Bribie Island are among a syndicate of 15 Queenslanders to share $70 million.

Members of the group will pocket more than $4.7 million each, after they held the only division one winning entry nationally in draw 1626, drawn on Tuesday.

Unknown to each other, they purchased their shares at 15 Golden Casket outlets across the state.

One winning ticket was purchased at Noosa Village News in Noosaville, while another was bought at Nextra Bribie Island.

The latter was stunned to hear he had won, after he received a phone call from a representative from The Lott.

“I was just asleep. Bloody hell,” the man said.

“Oh my god, that’s so good.

“This changes our lives. We’ve been trying to get our first home so this will do that.

“Unbelievable. My heart is racing.”

Several Queenslanders have claimed a huge win in Oz Lotto.

While some syndicate members who registered their entries to The Lott Members Club have been alerted to their good fortune, others in the winning group were uncontactable or held unregistered entries and might still be unaware of their good fortune.

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she hoped the remaining syndicate winners checked their tickets immediately to discover their early Easter treat.

“It’s remarkable that 15 Queenslanders became multimillionaires. While we’ve tried contacting those who registered their tickets to The Lott Members Club, some may have yet to discover the good news,” she said.

“We’re encouraging anyone who purchased a syndicate entry … to check their tickets as soon as possible!

“Just imagine how thrilling it would be to discover you’re part of this winning group and are now $4.7 million richer, Your plans for Easter and beyond could be transformed.

“If you discover you’re holding one of these golden tickets, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the prize claim process.”

The winning numbers were 14, 32, 13, 29, 41, 23 and 8, while the supplementary numbers were 43, 4 and 40.
