Sunshine Coast residents and visitors have been urged to check their lottery tickets after a mystery player won $100,000.

The ticketholder held the first prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10954, drawn on Thursday.

The Lott spokesperson Eliza Wregg said she hoped the person checked their ticket soon and came forward to claim the prize.

“Our mystery winner is likely oblivious to the fact they’ve scored $100,000,” she said.

“We’re encouraging anyone who purchased a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot ticket from Birtinya News & Gifts to check their ticket today.

Someone has a winning ticket for $100,000.

“Just imagine how exhilarating it would be to discover you’re the winner we’re searching for. Your plans for the rest of the year would change immediately.

“Make sure you check your tickets and if you discover you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 as soon as possible to begin the exciting prize claim process.”

If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered their ticket to a player card or online account, they would have already been alerted to their good fortune.

Instead, officials from The Lott are waiting for the ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws, one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize climbs for the next draw.
