The team behind a successful Sunshine Coast mortgage broker firm is celebrating 10 years of business and reflecting on a “fulfilling journey of growth”.

TSC Mortgage Brokers will mark the anniversary on April 2, a decade after a small husband-and-wife team acted on a shared vision of helping people find solutions to their financial goals.

Founders Matt and Nerida Punter say they are proud of their unwavering commitment to living, working and supporting the Sunshine Coast community.

Formerly known as The Savings Centre, the Kawana-based business began with a focus of supporting those who were battling with finance strategy and were unsure where to start on their property journey.

Over the years, TSC has transformed into a multi-award-winning firm that is regularly reviewed positively for its customer service and ability to navigate the ever-changing landscape of mortgage broking.

TSC now assists all types of homeowners, property investors and commercial borrowers.

Mr Punter said, alongside their dedicated team, they have consistently adapted, learned and thrived from the early days of the RBA interest rates at 2 per cent in 2015 to the historic low of 0.1 per cent in 2020 and the challenges brought by the Royal Commission and COVID-19.

“We take great pride in having supported over 3100 borrowers with more than $1.2 billion worth of lending,” he said.

Today, TSC employs 21 people across TSC Mortgage Brokers and its supporting business, Punters Finance.

Mr Punter said many of the staff have been with the company for more than six years, reflecting a family-friendly environment the Punters have worked so hard to cultivate.

“We consider many of our clients and team members like family,” he said.

“It’s incredibly satisfying to have assisted clients through their property journeys – from first homes to investment properties.

“It’s also an honour to have supported some of our most experienced team members through their journeys, from trainee processors or administration staff, to now very experienced and highly valued members of our team.”

Mr Punter said with a solid foundation built on integrity, innovation, and service, TSC Mortgage Brokers was excited to continue supporting the Sunshine Coast and beyond for many more years to come.
