A renowned artisan chocolate brand has opened a new store in one of Queensland’s most historic shopping centres.

The Noosa Chocolate Factory now has an outlet at the century-old Brisbane Arcade, in the heart of the state’s capital.

The store boasts the company’s bestselling and seasonal products, handmade and delivered fresh from the Noosa factory.

The best-selling products shoppers can expect there include freeze-dried strawberries in white chocolate, mango macadamia and marbled hazelnuts.

Noosa Chocolate Factory general manager Nick Southon was delighted to open the doors to the shop.

“We’re thrilled to add a new store to our Noosa Chocolate Factory family in Brisbane Arcade just in time for Christmas,” he said.

“The arcade is a year-round destination for locals and visitors but especially at this time of year when people flock to get photos of its famous Christmas decorations.

“We’re excited to join the festive fun and bring even more flavour to the arcade.’

In light of global cocoa shortages, Southon emphasised Noosa Chocolate Factory’s commitment to quality and flavour, saying the brand will never compromise on standards.

“We’re committed to keeping our products packed with rich cocoa flavour and antioxidant goodness,” he said.

“Our chocolates are carefully crafted to deliver that uncompromised taste our customers know and love.”

Southon said that, despite industry challenges, the Australian company is closing off a successful year with record sales.

“Despite cost of living prices, we have seen a significant increase in footfall to all retail spaces across Noosa, the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane,” he said.

“We know anecdotally that consumers are seeking out quality and locally made food products.

“Gifts are increasing in popularity as people are potentially spending less per gift but still giving quality products that they’re proud to share.”

The store in the Brisbane Arcade, which is off Queen Street, is open daily between 9am and 5pm with extended hours to 9pm on Fridays and Sunday trading hours 10am to 4pm.

The Noosa Chocolate Factor now has three stores in Brisbane, including two on Adelaide Street and one in the arcade, a Noosa store at the factory in Noosaville and a store at Sunshine Plaza.
