A 19-year-old motorcyclist has died in a crash on a busy thoroughfare.

The Doonan man’s motorcycle and a hatchback collided on Eenie Creek Road, near Reef Street, Noosaville, about 3.40pm.

The motorcyclist died at the scene while the 23-year-old female driver of the hatchback was not injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage is urged to contact police, quoting reference QP2401833335.
