Two emotional, ecstatic and delighted families have gathered to celebrate the love and lifetime commitment of Sunshine Coast couple Dylan Brown and Kurt Peach, as they vowed their love to one another for all time.

More than 60 guests travelled from Dylan’s home town Toowoomba and Kurt’s home town Sydney to the Novotel Twin Waters’ Pandanus Lawn, and there was even a couple of kangaroos who decided to join the party.

“It was the most exciting, happy, anxious morning, full of emotions, but we were so lucky,” the couple said.

“We had the best ‘I Do Crew’ to help us get ready, with parents, siblings and best friends to support us and calm our nerves.

“It was surreal standing at the end of the aisle, hand in hand, looking out and seeing all of our most important people around us smiling, happy, excited and knowing they were all there just for us.

“It was a magical atmosphere where we both felt swept along with our hearts bursting with love. Our ceremony included personal vows and lots of tears and laughter.

“The extravagant reception followed at Lily’s on the Lagoon at the resort and was the most fabulous night of our lives, complete with indoor fireworks on arrival, tearful speeches, amazing food and sore feet from dancing.

“Most couples dream of blue skies on their wedding day but we knew our skies would need to have a touch of ‘rainbow’, so we planned a rainbow smoke photo for our shoot.

“The photos look fabulous but if you look closely you can see the chaos unfolding.

“Our memories are hysterical, our suits were covered in rainbow powder, our cheeks were sore from laughing and all was good in the end.

“It really was the most magnificent experience of our lives, a perfect day and we are so happy to be married.”
