A wedding venue located on grounds hand-planted across nearly four decades is ready to enter its next chapter.

Spread around three lakes that were used to irrigate nearby farms, the established gardens – complete with their own cafe and function centre – are being described as a “masterpiece”.

Stonebridge Gardens at Palmwoods is a 12.1-hectare property that has been “built by hand” by the current owners, who purchased the block in 1987.

Located at 20 Rifle Range Road, today it invites guests to wander the gardens, enjoy food and drinks at the onsite cafe or host weddings and events.

Agent Kira Steinhaus from My Haus said the property was rich in history and primed for its next owner.

“It’s essentially a crafted vision,” she said.

“There’s three lakes on that property that used to irrigate farmland, which is now the Old Orchard Estate.

“In (1987) it was purchased and that’s when it became more than just dams that used to irrigates farmland.

“It has transformed into this amazing masterpiece to now host weddings and functions, and is home to the Stonebridge Cafe and Bar.

“It’s such a legacy property and there is so much more potential to add for the future purchasers.”

Stonebridge Gardens’ cafe opened to the public in July 2022, while the weddings and events arm of the business launched soon after.

The wedding and events venue can host up to 505 people and there is also approval for a yet-to-be built function centre.

The existing cafe and bar is 260sqm and the grounds feature pavilions, hand-built stone walls and the three lakes, the largest spanning 100 metres in length.

The gardens are filled with hand-planted natives and established trees.

Ms Steinhaus said the current owners had decided to retire, prompting the sale of the property.

“It’s a goodbye to an era and a hello to an incredible future,” she said.

Ms Steinhaus is seeking offers over $5m and said interested buyers should inquire.
