Buyers are showing significant interest in a new residential community for those “who want to live the good life”.

Ten lots have been snapped up during stage one of the approved five-stage The Enclave Maleny, which has been billed as an exclusive estate that offers an expansive hinterland lifestyle.

Priced from $530,000 to $599,000, blocks of land in stage one range from 800sqm to 1700sqm and boast views to Obi Obi Creek and Maleny.

When completed, the community will consist of 74 residential lots. An adjacent parcel of land will also be developed to provide another 15 large home sites.

Sales agent Cathie Price said buyers would relish owning premium land in a great location.

“This is a community for those who want to live the good life in an ideally positioned country setting,” she said.

“It provides buyers with a canvas to design and build their forever home.”

Ten blocks have sold for stage one of the project.

The community will be nestled on a gently undulating and tree-lined hill.

It will be close to the Maleny town centre and local schools, and will be just over 30 minutes from Sunshine Coast beaches.

The project is being developed by Mooloolaba-based company RM Developments, a property investment and development firm owned by former Army colleagues Remi Rafter and Josh Myers.

They said there was plenty of interest in the community from prospective buyers.

“The large lots are proving popular with families, young professionals, downsizers coming off acreage and retirees seeking to settle in a convenient, hinterland environment with room to store a caravan,” RM said in a response to Sunshine Coast News.

The community has attracted plenty of interest from families and retirees.

The project website states that the location would allow residents to feel at home among nature.

“When designing The Enclave Maleny, we wanted to allow for plenty of open spaces and close proximity to conveniences so residents could feel a sense of freedom and connection to the great outdoors and to the local community,” it states.

RM Developments has completed several projects around the region in recent years, and is building others.

It finished constructing the $50 million mixed-use Plaza Central Maroochydore development, which comprises 85 residential apartments and six commercial tenancies, last year.

The 3050sqm site is adjacent to the Sunshine Plaza Shopping Centre and comprises 85 residential apartments and about 600m2 of commercial space across two stages.

It also completed a $16 million residential community adjacent to the Palmer Coolum Golf Course at Yaroomba in 2021.

RM Developments is currently building SOHO Sippy Downs, a mixed-use residential and commercial development at the entrance to the Harmony residential community.

It comprises four commercial/retail spaces on the ground floor, with four residential apartments above.

The site is located on the corner of University Way and Peter Crosby Way, and the development is expected to bring commercial and retail space to the rapidly growing area.
