The foothills of a striking mountain continue to reveal their charms, with another grand multimillion-dollar property in the area hitting the market.

Mount Cooroy’s hidden treasures have been showcased in recent months with the listings of some stunning mansions, including an opulent mountainside retreat and a serene and stylish abode.

Now, another “flawless” executive estate is on offer, for a cool $6.5 million or more.

No.51 Lone Hand Road, on the outskirts of Eumundi and within 1.5km of the mountain, was put on the market in March.

The 10.38-hectare (26-acre) property is tucked away from main roads and boasts a suspended pool, tennis court and dam.

Hinternoosa – Noosa Hinterland agent Kess Prior said the views of the mountain were dominant from almost every room.

“The first thing you notice is the mountain, staring you in the face,” she said.

“It’s quite spectacular.”

The sleek home with mountain views.

The views are enhanced by the design of the house, which was built in 2004 and has undergone a recent $1m renovation.

It has a retractable roof and concertina windows.

“So, it (the view) is like looking at a painting: it’s really special,” Ms Prior said.

The elevated residence has a long driveway off Lone Hand Road.

It has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, four car spaces, two offices, a gym, a new kitchen, family rooms and entertainment areas.

It’s also a smart home, with 26kw of solar and two Tesla Powerwall batteries.

“Everything is run from an app on your phone – the gate, the alarm, the TVs, the music, even the pond, which has a big water feature,” Ms Prior said.

“It’s the icing on the cake … ahead of the times.”

The inviting 12m pool.

There is also a glass floor on the upper level.

“It’s got all sorts of unique features that make it stand out from other properties,” she said.

The property boasts an approved conference centre by the water, known as the “lounge room in the forest”.

It has a woodfire and barbecue/kitchen area, electric blinds and more.

The sloping property has four fenced paddocks, tall timbers, a dam, creek, orchard,  windmill and chicken coop.

Ms Prior said the property’s current owners, a professional couple, had been at the residence since it was built but they were ready to downsize.

She said it could suit another professional couple or a family.

“It lends itself to a large variety of potential buyers, even down-sizers who come from thousands of acres. This is something that is manageable and very beautiful,” she said.

The real estate agency labelled the scenic and tranquil area, which is less than 25 minutes’ drive from Noosa, an “ultra-desirable enclave, within Noosa’s golden triangle”.
