A slice of tropical paradise on the Sunshine Coast is expected to attract offers of more than $6 million.

The Bali-inspired property, Villa Asmara, is for sale via private treaty after it was passed in at auction last weekend.

The 6454sqm property at 19 Hardwood Drive in Buderim boasts some rare features for the region, including a cinema, pickle ball court, steam room and spa, fire pit with ocean views, gym, timber beams from the Brisbane docks, stone bathtub, wine cellar and South American marble benches.

But it’s the traditional Balinese architecture and tropical theme that stands out, as the house moulds with water features, pools, pavilions and gardens, via award-winning landscaping.

The property has a waterfall, cave and 15m waterslide.

“It’s very unique,” Property Consultant at Property Today – Sunshine Coast, Jamie Hill, said.

“It really is resort living and one of a kind for the Sunshine Coast.

“Once you walk through the gates, you have total privacy.

“It’s a sensory property.

“If you took someone in blindfolded, and then took the blindfold off and asked them where they were, they might say Bali or Thailand. It is truly amazing.”

The huge master bedroom includes a fireplace.

The property boasts seven bedrooms, five bathrooms and six car spaces.

It has, in the past, been a Hawaiian retreat, but it’s been a family residence during the past couple of years.

The family is now moving on, to be closer to relatives in Pelican Waters.

There were a number of interested parties set to present offers for the property in coming days.
