A $200 million luxury residential precinct has taken a huge step forward at the southern end of the Sunshine Coast.

Henzells Property Group has announced the appointment of prominent Queensland commercial construction company Evans Built for stage one of its Pelican Waters showcase, called The Cove.

Evans Built has commenced stage one, known as Corsica, and is on schedule to complete all 15 terrace homes by December, 2022, and 36 luxury apartments by March next year.

Off the plan sales for Corsica have been very strong, with all terrace product sold and only seven apartment opportunities remaining. The project has achieved $44 million in total sales to date.

Henzells Property Group managing director Mclean Henzell said Corsica’s construction could not be in better hands than with Evans Built at the helm.

“As a family owned and operated company with a string of award-winning projects to their credit, and a strong association with the Pelican Waters community, we couldn’t think of a better construction company than Evans Built to bring Stage 1 of the Cove to life,’’ Mr Henzell said.

Evans Built director Sean Evans said the company was delighted to be involved with The Cove.

“Our people thrive on the seamless delivery of quality-built environments and it is a pleasure to be involved with The Cove project which we believe will redefine luxury residential living for the southern Sunshine Coast,’’ Mr Evans said.

The $200 million Cove development will be delivered in four stages over the next four years.

When completed, the luxury residential enclave will comprise approximately 220 apartments, private swimming pools, recreation spaces, waterfront restaurants and cafes on the doorstep of the first dedicated marina precinct delivered in South-East Queensland in decades.
