The Power of a Cultured Woman
BATS Theatre Company presents this must-see theatrical experience, which incorporates music and song, dance, plays and monologues, telling the stories of women from diverse cultural backgrounds living in Australia and the Sunshine Coast.

Dystopia/Utopia: 2700
Are we heading for a dystopian or utopian world in 2070? In Dystopia/Utopia: 2070, artists and writers respond to speculative fiction and imagine possible future scenarios. This exhibition is designed to stimulate discussion about our future, to emphasise the arts in conjunction with science are at the forefront of our survival, and to question what we take for granted.

Pop Up Feature Artisan: Barry Smith
The seasonal Pop Up Artisan Program connects studio to storefront for a featured artisan each exhibition period. Barry Smith is based in Maleny and works with metal, wood and paper. He takes salvaged materials and objects and gives them new life. Much of his art reflects themes of peace, stillness, social justice and the environment.

Waitangi Day – NightQuarter
NightQuarter is proud to be celebrating everything that is Aotearoa (New Zealand) this Waitangi Day. What better way to celebrate the significance of the signing of New Zealand’s founding treaty than with a massive line-up of music, food and cultural performances inspired by the land of the long white cloud. You’re invited to head along and sit back with your whānau to enjoy the sounds and sights. The melting pot of global sounds with strong New Zealand and Pacific Island influences will be a great experience for all.

Wildflowering and en plein air morning at Emu Mountain
Discover the joys of summer wildflowering in the heathland near Emu Mountain and get creative with a focus on the wildflowers or coastal vistas. You will begin with a wander, seeing what is in bloom, and enjoy some quality time in nature before participating in some art-making. Guidance will be provided or you can do your own thing. You will be provided with a map with likely species you will see. Guide Dr Sue Davis will share stories, insights and information about the flowers of the area.

Hello Jane – Saltwater Eco Tours
Enjoy a two-hour cruise of Mooloolaba while grazing on delicious food and sipping your choice of beverages as you are serenaded by the sounds of solo artist Hello Jane. Hello Jane is a Queensland-based emerging singer/songwriter who travels the country with her guitar and a blend of folk storytelling and pop melody with a splash of country. As comfortable on large stages as in your great-aunt’s living room, she is well known for her heart-wrenching sweet vocals and sophisticated songwriting.
