A leading care provider has joined the team at the Sunshine Coast’s new $25 million health and wellbeing building.

121 Care, which provides support to people with disabilities, will move into Vitality Village, near the Sunshine Coast University Hospital at Birtinya.

The village opened recently and it has already brought together some of the region’s brightest minds and businesses, in a collaborative project championed by community services organisation Be and the Double R Group.

121 Care co-chief executives, Kym Chomley and Feda Adra, said the move was an exciting one, as the organisation sought to collaborate more, for the benefit of staff and clients.

“What attracts us is the opportunity to work with other organisations, to support each other and create synergies that is innovative and will make a real difference to our community,” they said in a media release.

“We’re really interested in exploring the chance to link up with the other villagers, so our clients can have access to a wider range of services.”
