Thieves have stolen three cars from cooking celebrity Kim McCosker, making off with one of the Sunshine Coast’s most easily recognisable vehicles.

Prominent author and entrepreneur Kim McCosker told Sunshine Coast News her prized Mini Countryman, emblazoned with her famous 4 Ingredients branding, was stolen along with two other vehicles from her Pelican Waters home overnight.

Up to six thieves smashed their way into her home, grabbed Kim’s handbag which contained keys to two of the cars, and stole the Mini, plus a brand new Range Rover and a Toyota Supra, which was hotwired.

The Range Rover, with three young people on board, was spotted on the way out of town when it stopped at a service station for fuel, the driver taking off without paying.

Kim said her Mini was found crashed at Bokarina, with the lone occupant apparently earlier ramming a police car and running off.

The other two vehicles were still unaccounted for.

“We were told the thieves had driven a stolen car from Toowong and dumped it at Pelican Waters,” said Kim.

“Our Range Rover and Supra were sighted heading towards Brisbane. We hope they are found soon.”

Queensland Police said the thefts occurred sometime around 3.30am Monday morning.

A spokesperson said the vehicles were observed shortly after however evaded police.

Kim took to social media for the public’s help in retrieving the vehicles.

She posted: “Dear ROBBERS, if you wouldn’t mind returning our stolen cars as soon as conveniently possible, we’d very much appreciate it.

“We assume there were around 6 of you in our house as we saw one of you in the 4 Ingredients Mini and 3 of you in Glen’s Range Rover, then obviously one of you in Morgan’s PRIDE & JOY – Toyota Supra, and someone had to drive you all here!
