A sprawling cattle property to a duplex perfect for downsizing and interstate Zoom bidders vying for a slice of Noosa heaven were the highlights of this week’s Sunshine Coast auctions.

2229 Old Bruce Highway, Coles Creek, was sold by the team at Marg Cochrane Real Estate for $2,650,000.

The working cattle property, spread over more than 100 hectares, changed hands in front of a windswept Sunday crowd enjoying Mary Valley views to the west and Mt Pomona to the south-east.

The eventual purchaser was a neighbour looking to expand their macadamia production.

1/ 32 Oomoo Street (pictured below) is a beautifully refurbished duplex in the heart of the ever popular Buddina.

Marketed by Minka Jenkins and the team at Team Godwin, the property received oodles of attention over the past few weeks and on Sunday at 2pm it was snapped up by local downsizers for $780,000.

81 Cogill Rd, Buderim, produced a very healthy 10 registered bidders Saturday afternoon at 5pm.

The team at Nicholl and Young was very busy showing buyers the finer details of the property in the final moments before the auction.

After pages of bidding were recorded, the nail-biting auction led to a $872,000 sale.

4 Chardonnay Court, Buderim, (below) is a neat-as-a-pin, four-bedroom home with a pool on a corner block.

The team at Henry and Nina Real Estate prepared two highly qualified bidders.

The bidding opened at $800,000 with consecutive bids all the way to $925,000, where the seller was happy to pass the property over to the highest bidder.

The purchaser, currently in locked down Sydney, will rent the property out for a few years before moving up.

With bidders ‘Zooming’ in from capital city lockdowns, Nathan Howie and the team at Noosa Estate Agents sold 74 Saltwater Avenue, Noosaville, for $1,780,000.

The backyard was packed and so was the computer screen with hopeful buyers.

The eventual purchaser was victorious and happy they had a clear visual on the auction from thousands of kilometres away.

Setting a great benchmark for Noosa Waters ‘dry’ properties was the sale of 5 Broadreach Court, Noosa Waters, marketed by Monique Sommer at Reed & Co.

The home, positioned in a beautiful little cul-de-sac, was upsized everywhere with a northern aspect over the pool.

Going on to sell for $2,150,000, the price even surprised the neighbours.
