The last beachfront site on the Sunshine Coast has been bought by Queensland-based Cube Developments which plans to build medium-density apartments with views over the ocean.

Purchased for close to $5 million, Lot 907 Bokarina Beach (3,214 sqm) is positioned between Caloundra and Mooloolaba, adjacent to Bokarina Beach, with ocean aspects and beach access.

Cube Developments Director Scott Juniper said the team was eager to get started on their plans to create a boutique six-storey residence with up to 75 beachfront apartments.

“We are very fortunate to have acquired the last slice of land on the Coast that is positioned right on the oceanfront,” he said.

“This project will help cater to the pent-up demand for beachfront living that we have experienced here on the Sunshine Coast since the mass northerly migration of interstate sea-changers since early last year.

“We look forward to delivering a desirable outcome for everyone involved and taking advantage of this very special spot, to create homes that will be enjoyed long into the future.”

The Bokarina project will join Cube’s growing Sunshine Coast portfolio, which includes three other residential apartments in neighbouring suburb Birtinya.

This includes the sell-out $27 million project One Prosperity, which is under construction and slated for completion at the end of this year, Curve, a sell-out $37 million project, which is due for completion next month, and the recently-launched to market ‘Seasons by Cube’.
