Loss is universal and grief is a natural reaction to loss.

Recognising that we all will be faced with death someday, it’s important we know how to deal with feelings of grief.

Perhaps you have experienced grief firsthand.

You may have lost your parents, a partner, friend or child and can relate.

Contrastingly, you may have very little experience, somewhat limiting your ability to relate to those bereaved.

However, learning more about grief may help you to feel more at ease about starting up a conversation or reaching out to someone suffering a loss.

Drysdale and White Lady Funerals in Nambour is inviting residents to one of two free seminars on grief and loss run by grief counsellor Sue Adams.

She will answer all your questions about grief and loss and offer practical tips in managing grief and how to talk to someone who is grieving.

The seminars will be held on Wednesday, July 14, from 10-11.30am or 6-7.30pm at Drysdale and White Lady Funerals, 33 National Park Road, Nambour.

The seminars will be followed by refreshments.
