A best-selling author, musician and entrepreneur is set to inspire at an In Conversation event at Maroochydore.
Clare Bowditch will be a special guest speaker at the event, as part of The Refinery creative incubator program, with local singer/songwriter Andrea Kirwin.
SunCentral City Activation Project Manager Bronwyn Adams said she was thrilled to have two of Australia’s premier female performers live on stage at The Metropolitan on May 14, when they would share their experiences in life and business while also performing a couple of their favourite songs.
“Along with being an award-winning musician and the author of her best-selling memoir ‘Your own kind of Girl’ Ms Bowditch is also the founder of Big Hearted Business which supports creative people in their businesses as well as applying creative thinking to businesses.
“We are really looking forward to seeing Clare channel her passion for music, literature and sustainable arts businesses as she speaks on the importance of creative mentors, business with heart, the challenges and loves of a creative life and on finding your own voice,” Ms Adams said.

Locally based singer/songwriter Andrea Kirwin is a hugely popular indie-music performer and has recently branched out to launch her own ‘Peace Run Records’ studio and venue in Nambour.
“Andrea will join Clare to regale guests with tales from her own experiences as a musician and start-up business operator. Guests will also be treated to some of her dulcet tunes which have been enjoyed by her extensive fan base across the globe,” Ms Adams said.
