More than $20 million of luxury apartments have been snapped up in the first week of the Sunshine Coast’s first resort in 17 years going to market.

Since Lowanna Beach Resort was released to the public on March 22, sales agent Nathan Ejindu said he has been inundated with enquiries from across the country and to the sales kiosk based at Kawana Shoppingworld.

Mr Ejindu said the $90 million resort at Buddina was essentially more than 20 per cent sold having received overwhelming interest.

“It’s so fantastic to see such volumes of genuine enquiries,” he said.

“The Sunshine Coast truly is the country’s property hot spot and what we’re offering here in Buddina delivers the epitome of Sunshine Coast living.

“We knew Lowanna Beach Resort would be popular, but this first week has surpassed all our expectations.”

Contracts were sent from Monday, with more than 25 contracts to be issued this week to  people who completed an expression of interest for the 112 residential and five commercial off-the-plan units in the beach resort.

Among the first to secure an apartment are locals looking to downsize, locals wanting to invest, locals and interstate buyers looking for a beachside lifestyle and out of region investors.

“The key aspects of Lowanna Beach Resort that are drawing much of the enquiries is the large-sized and well-priced apartments with a view that places residents within walking distance of a world-class beach and pretty much every modern amenity you could desire with Kawana Shoppingworld, Gold Class Cinemas, dining and entertainment just steps away,” Mr Ejindu said.

Set to be constructed between Lowanna Drive and Bermagui Crescent, between Buddina Beach and Kawana Shoppingworld, Lowanna Beach Resort presents 1, 2, 3 bed and dual key apartments, priced from $399,900 to $1.4m.

“These apartments are designed for living, with large living areas, large balconies, plenty of storage and luxurious shared resort facilities that include pool, yoga lawn, barbecue and clubhouse,” Mr Ejindu said.

Lowanna Beach Resort sales agent Nathan Ejindu has been inundated with enquiries.

A sales display kiosk is now open at Kawana Shoppingworld, with a building model, artist impression imagery, floor plans and investor packs ready to share with interested buyers.
