Nature has a way of triggering curious questions about exactly how all these creatures get along. This osprey had to contend with an annoying little wagtail at Mooloolaba Marina. The exchange was captured by photographer Anne Thurgood.

“The osprey just wanted peace to eat his fish and he did eventually get fed up and fly off. I often go down and observe them on the nest, but it was great to get this shot at eye level.”
