Bootleg Rascal

Stand-Up Comedy at Moffat Beach Brewing Co

Monthly at Moffs is back with the laugh legends from Funny Coast Comedy bringing you another night of world-class stand-up comedy. The headline act for March is Canadian crusher Lars Callieou. A three-time Canadian Comedy Awards nominee, he has performed at Just For Laughs Montreal and has a one-hour special currently airing on the Comedy Channel. He’s toured with Joan Rivers, Bob Saget and Jeff Foxworthy, and performed at The World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas.

Linsey Pollak & Ravi Singh In Concert

This concert will touch your heart and soul. Linsey Pollak lives on the Sunshine Coast and is well-known around Australia as a musician, composer and musical director. Ravikesh Singh lives in Brisbane has been initiated into the Benares Gharana style of Tabla, having spent many years travelling to India to learn from his masters. This is sure to be an amazing night of music.

Open Studios Sunshine Coast: Artist Talk With Susan Lincoln

The Dystopia/Utopia: 2070 artist talk with Susan Lincoln is held in conjunction with the Open Studios Sunshine Coast weekend. Ms Lincoln is a Brisbane-based artist with a Bachelor of Visual Art (Interior Design) and a Master of Visual Art (Research) from Griffith University. She has a rich connection to regional and rural Australia and it is the nostalgia and familial connection to these places that has left a signature mark on her artwork during the past two decades.

Get To Know Your Local Butterflies

Come along for an amazing morning of butterfly exploration. You will meet at Mooloolah River Landcare for a short presentation giving you tips on how to identify the local butterflies. This will be followed by a tour of the native butterfly garden. Then you will head out to a nearby location to take part in the inaugural Sunshine Coast Big Butterfly Count. This wonderful morning is open to anyone who wants to learn more about their local butterflies.
