Three teenagers were taken to hospital with burns after a gas bottle ignited at a Sunshine Coast hinterland property.

QAS reported that paramedics, including Critical Care, attended a private residence at Witta at 2.13am Saturday following a gas bottle incident.

A male in his teens suffered facial, chest, leg and arm burns and was transported in a serious but stable condition to Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH).

A further two patients, both males in their teens, were also transported in a stable condition to SCUH with leg burns.

Paramedics had a busy night on the Coast and also attended an alleged wounding and single motorcycle crash.

They responded to a private residence at Pelican Waters at 1.10am for an alleged wounding. One patient with an abdominal wound and another with wounds to their back and arms were both transported in stable conditions to SCUH.

Earlier, a man sustained facial and chest injuries following a single-motorcycle crash on Kerenjon Avenue, Buderim, at 10.48pm Friday. He is in a serious condition at SCUH.
