A public health alert has been issued for contact tracing locations in Glass House Mountains and Bundaberg Central.

Queensland Health has added the Caboolture South Travel Centre (truck stop area men’s toilet) to its COVID alert list.

The person, considered a close contact risk, was present in that location between 8.50pm and 9.35pm on Saturday, October 23.

He is believed to be a Gympie truck driver who passed through the Sunshine Coast before testing positive in NSW. He had visited Bundaberg.

Queensland Health said it was asking all Queenslanders to regularly monitor the list of exposure venues on the Queensland Health website and follow the public health advice, as there may be more locations.

Contact tracing venues can be found at http://www.health.qld.gov.au/tracing.

One was an unvaccinated 17-year-old on the Gold Coast and the other was a woman from Melbourne, who was in home quarantine.
