Years of effort perfecting their unique recipe of masterfully crafted gins and vodkas have finally paid off for a young Caloundra couple.

Beachtree Distilling co. founders Steve Grace and Kirra Daley have opened the doors of the area’s first small-batch distillery.

The great range of Australian-themed gins and vodkas have been masterfully crafted using unique recipes, infused with native botanicals and distilled using organically grown sugarcane and filtered rainwater.

Steve and Kirra are incredibly excited to share their locally made products with the Sunshine Coast at the new venue at 14 Industrial Ave, Caloundra West.

While only minutes from stunning beaches, the vibrant industrial warehouse spans more
than 500m, with production occurring on site.

“Beachtree started as an opportunity for Steve, our head distiller, to combine his love of engineering with my passion for freshly grown produce to create premium craft spirits,” Kirra said.

“Now, after two years of planning, we are thrilled to be opening our doors to the local community, but there is so much more to come.”

The couple has huge plans for the venue as their dream business expands, including a boutique tasting room, corporate conference spaces and other surprises.

“Fuelled by a love for this country, we believe you can enjoy all the good things in life: a morning surf, followed by refreshing spirits from the land,” Steve said.

“Soon, tours will be available to the community, along with a variety of other unique experiences.”

Steve and Kirra not only are dedicated to creating unique, premium, handcrafted products but also insist on taking an ethical and sustainable approach.

Beachtree Distilling uses organic sugarcane as the base of the spirit, rather than wheat and grains, which allows their products to be naturally gluten-free.

The organic sugarcane base contains no pesticides or chemicals and is harvested using sustainable practices.

“We believe this is kinder to your body and the land and creates a cleaner, crisper spirit,” Steve said.

Beachtree Distilling Co will be open to the public for tastings and takeaway bottle sales from Wednesday to Sunday, noon to 6pm.

A small seating area will be available soon, so members of the public can stop by and treat themselves to the new taste in gin and vodka.
