The country’s biggest Jetts Fitness gym is now established on the Sunshine Coast.

Jetts has about 130 venues across Australia but none are larger than the one at Peregian Springs.

The relocated facility, which opened amid significant fanfare in late February, is the biggest in size and membership.

It boasts a new gym floor, boutique reformer pilates studio and a recovery zone including saunas.

“This space has been designed so you can train how you like, when you like, with everything in one beautiful, purpose-built club,” the gym team stated on social media.

The gym has plenty of equipment for cardio workouts.

Jetts Fitness Australia general manager Ben Mason confirmed the gym “has become the largest in the country”.

“Peregian Springs is a great location for our biggest club, mainly because the owners (Matt and Tracey Browne) were keen on an upgrade and they have the community keen to try the new offering,” he said.

“Jetts Peregian Springs showcases the evolution of our product offering, bringing fitness, recovery and reformer together in one premium model. It sets the benchmark for future growth.”

The gym was essentially relocated from the northern side of the Peregian Springs Shopping Centre to a new 750sqm space on the southern side of the complex.

There is plenty of space at the venue.

“While Matt and Tracey have been running the gym for six years, they have fostered a very strong and loyal community so they recently made the leap to a bigger space nearby to accommodate more members,” Mr Mason said.

“There are a few new additions that we are trialling at Jetts Peregian Springs.

“One is instructor-led reformer pilates classes.

“They (the Browns) have also added a dedicated recovery offering, including massage chairs and sauna facilities, and expanded class programming and training zones.”

There is a designated recovery area that includes saunas.

The venue’s membership numbers have not been revealed but there are more than 10,000 members across 16 Jetts gyms on the Sunshine Coast, where the chain has its head office.

Mr Mason also revealed there could be more gyms on the way.

“Jetts has a strong local foothold and is set to continue growing across the region,” he said.
