Emergency services have responded to a multivehicle collision on the Sunshine Motorway southbound at Mooloolaba today.
Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed the crash, near the Brisbane Road offramp, involved a truck rear-ending three vehicles.
Queensland Police also attended the scene at 12.20pm, and one person was being assessed for injuries by QAS.
Meanwhile last night, four people, including three children, were taken to hospital following a traffic crash in Nambour.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Nambour Connection Road and Coronation Avenue about 9.10pm.
Queensland Police Service said the crash involved two vehicles and no one was trapped.
Queensland Ambulance Service transported one adult and three children to Nambour Hospital, all in a stable condition.
Earlier in the day, a motorcyclist was rescued from bushland in the Imbil State Forest following a search and rescue operation.
QPS said a 54-year-old Melawondi man crashed his motorcycle on a gravel road about 12.30pm and walked away from the scene to find mobile phone reception before becoming lost in nearby bushland.
The man later called triple zero about 3.30pm. With assistance from a rescue helicopter and other emergency services, he was located about 5.20pm.
He was transported to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries, including back pain.
