Police are asking for assistance to locate a 12-year-old girl who has been missing from Noosa Heads since January 22.

The girl was last seen around 5.35 pm at Lions Park, Noosa Parade, and has not made contact with family or friends since. Police have expressed concerns for her welfare due to her age.

She is described as Caucasian, approximately 174 cm tall, slim build, with sandy blonde hair tied in a ponytail and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a light pink t-shirt, long cream linen pants, white socks and slides.

The missing girl has not contacted family or friends since January 22.

Police are appealing to the girl, or anyone with information that may help locate her, to contact them immediately.
