It’s not just beach properties that are being snapped up, with only a handful of townhouses remaining at the Evans Long Central Residences project in Sippy Downs.

Evans Long director Matt Evans said the project, which was due to commence construction mid year, had been inundated with interest from both owner occupiers as well as investors looking to gain a foothold in the local market.

Townhouses start at $485,000 and have a top price of $535,000.

“Central Residences is a boutique collection of just 28 townhouses featuring three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, two car garage and a lush communal recreation area for all residents to enjoy,” Mr Evans said.

“Stage One is already sold out and Stage Two is around 80% sold since launching to the market just a few months ago.

“From our point of view there’s no doubt that the three bedrooms and spacious design have strong appeal to a wide range of buyers including professional couples, young families, retirees as well as investors looking to attract potential tenants such as staff or students from the University of the Sunshine Coast as well as other major local employers.

“There’s just a handful of townhouses remaining and we encourage interested buyers to contact us as soon as possible as the remaining stock is high quality and will sell quickly,” Mr Evans said.

Central Residences townhouses is the third major project Evans Long has undertaken in Sippy Downs this year following the announcement of the opening of the Sippy Downs Early Learning Centre and the Tony Kelly lead Miss May café within the Town Centre.

“We are a big wrap for Sippy Downs, it’s such a great location with a vibrant Town Centre where hundreds of people are already employed across a range of retail and professional businesses, while the University of the Sunshine Coast, Youi, a range of medical and sporting precincts as well as several high quality public and private schools are all just a short drive away,” he said.

“Location is really important and there’s such a superb balance of convenience, leisure, green spaces and connectivity in a 5 km catchment area so it is little wonder Sippy Downs has become such a hotspot for property investors.”
