A motorcyclist has been flown to hospital after a severe crash at a national park.

The Queensland and Ambulance Service stated that the rider suffered head and chest injuries near Kenilworth at about 10am.

The patient was airlifted, by LifeFlight, to Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) in a potentially life-threatening condition.

The crash was one of several call-outs for emergency services on the Sunshine Coast on Easter Sunday.

A person was airlifted to SCUH, in a stable condition, after suffering head and neck injuries in a boogie board incident at K’gari at 1.23pm.

A person was involved in a bicycle incident at First Avenue and Welsby Parade at Bongaree at 5.03pm, three people were injured in a three-vehicle crash on Beerburrum Road at Elimbah at 4.28pm and another was involved in a post immersion incident at Kings Beach at 4.22pm.

A person was involved in an incident with a horse at Little Mountain at 1.44pm and another had a bicycle crash at Maple Lane at Cooroy at 12.28pm.

All were in stable conditions.
