‘Whirlwind’ is a word that could be used to describe this wedding day.

Having a short five-month engagement and health issues to navigate, Christine Punch and Ben Grosse still can’t believe their wedding day was so absolutely perfect.

Christine reflected on the big occasion.

“You always dream that your wedding will be stress free and do your best to organise everything,” she said.

“However, wedding jitters and anxiety hit just before I walked into our ceremony. Those jitters were present for both of us.

“But once we laid eyes on each other and we turned and looked at all of our favourite people, the sense of calm and peace swept across us.

Christine Punch and Ben Grosse had a sense of calm when it came to the big moment.

“The best parts of our wedding day were seeing our two small flower girls experience the walk down the aisle.

“They were so excited about such an important role and they did a fabulous job sprinkling petals.

“The room erupted into a round of applause for them and their smiles will stay with us forever.

“Then, the moment we were pronounced husband and wife felt so special: a wonderful moment we can now cherish forever.

“I am filled with so much happiness remembering our day. I can say it was the day I’d dreamed of since I was a little girl.”

Their 54 guests cheered as the couple were introduced as husband and wife and took their first walk hand-in-hand, back down the aisle at The Caloundra Power Boat Club.

The reception on site was a true party and a celebration of two families becoming one.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Grosse decided to enjoy a quiet honeymoon staying in Caloundra and enjoyed two weeks of bliss exploring the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
