A well-established specialty coffee retailer is about to open its new store and drive-through on the Sunshine Coast.

Zarraffa’s Coffee will welcome customers to its Nambour location, on Bli Bli Road, from Monday, November 20.

The store boasts inside and outside seating for up to 44 people, and a drive-through lane.

It will be operated by Terry Bambury and James Burgess-Liehr, along with seasoned franchisee Ben Old. They have more than 60 years of experience with the brand.

It will be the first store co-owned by Mr Burgess-Liehr.

“I have been a Nambour local for over 10 years and have always loved living here,” he said.

“We can’t wait to open and serve the Nambour and hinterland community from 5am every day.”

“I am looking forward to doing the school run each day and then heading to our new store without leaving town, and we can’t wait to get involved in supporting our local community, our schools and clubs in the area.”

He said many people in the area would relish the opportunity to drop in to the store and get a coffee.

“We have a very loyal following that have been making the commute from Nambour and the surrounding hinterland suburbs to the coastal stores to get their Zarraffa’s fix, and now we are so happy to be able to reduce their travel times, with local, barista-made coffee, right on their doorstep,” he said.

Zarraffa’s Coffee Nambour will serve signature blends and specialty beverages, crafted by baristas who undergo rigorous training. The store will also offer an assortment of baked savouries, sweets and snacks.

Mr Burgess-Liehr said the store was committed to contributing to the local community.

It will be staffed by a team of about 25 locals who share a love for coffee and a dedication to delivering outstanding service.

Zarraffa’s is set to open its fourth store in the region.

It will be Zarraffa’s 75th store in Australia and its fourth store on the Sunshine Coast.

Company CEO Marnie Sheldon said the brand was right at home in the region.

“It’s fitting that we are celebrating the 75th store milestone opening in Nambour,” she said.

Ms Sheldon and Zarraffa’s also provided details to Sunshine Coast News about the new store and drive-thru last month, when locals expressed their excitement about the chain coming to town.

Zarraffa’s Coffee Nambour is located at 2/668 Bli Bli Road, Nambour. It wil be open from 5am to 8pm daily.
