The vibrant and charming historic railway town of Yandina is set to welcome visitors from all over the Sunshine Coast to its streets for a grand community celebration for all ages.
After a four-year hiatus, the Yandina Street Fair returns for its 43rd year.
The family friendly event promises a day filled with laughter and excitement, activities and entertainment on Sunday, August 20, from 11am to 7pm.
Attractions include the Sizzler, Super Slide, cup-and-saucer ride, jumping castle, rock-climbing wall, face painting, glitter nails, petting zoo, roving puppeteers, stilt walkers, caricature artist, Stephen Hollis as Silver Steve the street performer, and a magician.
Indulge in culinary delights from the various food trucks and explore a range of local artisanal food stalls.

Immerse yourself in the sounds of Yandina’s vibrant music scene with live performances from talented local artists and community groups across three stages.
Highlights include a traditional Welcome to Country by local Gubbi Gubbi Elders, the enchanting melodies of the Caledonian Pipes and Drums, the poetic storytelling of Noel Stallard, and musical showcases by Nambour State College students, Mayah and Band, Escape Plann, Pretty Jesus, Trillions, Million Johnny’s, Flaskas, Demi Casha, Ausphonic, Tony Casley, Johnny Curran, Stu White and more.
The Yandina Queensland Country Women’s Association will host a tearoom featuring homemade preserves and baked goods, craft and plant stalls, and raffles.
The grand finale of the evening will be a performance by Skyfall Entertainment involving fire, light and special effects.

State Member for Nicklin Rob Skelton congratulated the organising committee for its efforts in coordinating this year’s fair.
“I would like to thank the committee for stepping up and organising this for the community after the event has not been able to go ahead for the last four years,” he said.
“It’s going to be a great day. My team and I will be there handing out some goodies, so make sure you come by and say ‘hi’.”
The Yandina Street Fair serves as a vital contributor to the local economy, allowing businesses and creators to showcase their offerings and connect with new customers.
Street Fair chairman Greg Corbin said the local Chamber of Commerce and the organising committee expected more than 5000 visitors to attend the highly anticipated event.
“Now in its 43rd year, we invite everyone to come along to the Yandina Street Fair and be part of a proud celebration of the community and business of Yandina and districts,” he said.
Admission to the fair is free, offering an inclusive opportunity for all to join the festivities and revel in the town’s rich history.
Parking is available along the town’s side streets.
