Police have charged two teenagers following an alleged break-in on the Sunshine Coast.

It is alleged that around 12.40am on April 2, the youths gained access to a garage beside a residence on Munro Lane at Baringa and stole a black BMW X6 SUV.

The vehicle was later found undamaged on Annalise Court in Nirimba at around 8.45am.

Authorities say the incident may be linked to another alleged break-in at Deception Bay, where a red Nissan X-Trail was stolen from a property on Warroo Drive at approximately 11.30pm on April 1.
