Detectives from the Sunshine Coast Criminal Investigation Branch have charged a man who allegedly harassed and sexually assaulted multiple women over a two-year period.

Police will allege the man engaged with several women via social media between July 2023 and November 2025, where he initially solicited sexual activities for money before grooming them and later assaulting them.

The alleged victims were aged between 26 and 35 years old.

A 31-year-old Mooloolaba man has been charged with 31 offences, including 11 counts of rape, seven counts of using a carriage service to menace and harass, six counts of stalking, four counts of recording in breach of privacy, two counts of sexual assault and one count of administering a stupefying drug.

He is due to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court today, February 24.

The Queensland Police Service believe there may be further victims and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
