A man has been taken to hospital after the SUV he was driving crashed into a house in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The Queensland Ambulance Service stated that the man suffered facial injuries after the vehicle ploughed into a home on Cinnamon Avenue at Coolum Beach at 12.47am.

The Queensland Police Service said the driver was a 24-year-old Bli Bli man, who was taken to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.

The incident is under investigation.

“Police and emergency services were called to Coolum Beach in relation to a single vehicle traffic crash early this morning,” a QPS spokesperson said.

Meanwhile, a person was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital after a vehicle and bicycle incident at Currimundi.

The incident occurred on the corner of Hill Street and Buderim Street at 4.50am.
