Noosa Holiday Park prices are set to rise by $5 a night in 2027, despite the Sunshine Coast region recording softer tourism performance for much of 2025.
At a Noosa Council committee meeting on December 15, councillors voted to set new fees and charges for 2027 for Noosa Holiday Parks by adopting the proposed General Cost Recovery Fees and Commercial Charges schedule for the parks for the period ending July 11, 2027.
Under the changes, a powered beach site at Noosa North Shore Campground during peak season will increase by 6.76 per cent, rising from $74 per night to $79.

A powered site at Noosa River Holiday Park in peak season will rise by 7.14 per cent, from $84 to $90 per night.
“The fee adjustments for Noosa Holiday Parks in 2027 are modest, benchmarked against comparable regional holiday parks and reflect Council’s focus on maintaining high-quality facilities and services, helping Council provide a great experience for guests now and into the future,” Noosa Council manager Economic Development and Destination Management, Lynne Banford said.
The decision comes as occupancy data from the Caravan Industry Association of Australia shows the Sunshine Coast region, which includes Noosa, has underperformed for much of the year compared to the previous year.
Data from the Caravanning Industry Association of Australia comparing year-on-year occupancy across Queensland regions indicates that July 2025 was the only month this year when Sunshine Coast occupancy levels were comparable to the same month in the previous year.
The data also shows the Sunshine Coast region recorded year-on-year occupancy declines recorded from August to December 2024, compared with 2023.
“Internal nights-sold data for the Noosa Holiday Parks program aligns with these broader regional trends with year-on-year comparisons indicate a softening in demand throughout 2025,” the report states.
“These trends highlight the importance of adopting a strategic, balanced approach to pricing for Noosa Holiday Parks.
“Setting fees and charges ensures ongoing full cost recovery for the Noosa Holiday Parks business activity, supporting the financial sustainability and commercial performance of the portfolio.”
