An award-winning residential builder has marked 40 years in business on the Sunshine Coast, where they’ve built close to 1950 homes.

Dwyer Quality Homes celebrated with more than 80 team members, clients and industry partners to recognise its contribution to home building, local jobs and the community.

Managing director Alex Dwyer said the birthday celebration acknowledged the people, partners, clients and communities who have been part of the builder’s story during the past four decades.

“The 40-year celebration is incredibly special for us as it’s a chance to recognise the families we’ve built homes for, the contractors and suppliers who’ve stood beside us and the team members who have shaped who we are today,” he said.

“These relationships and local roots are a big part of our longevity.

“We’re really proud of every home we’ve built but the real privilege is when clients come back to build their second or even third home with us.

“We’ve always stood by transparent and honest pricing, and that’s an important part of our business that will never change.”

Barbara Fields, Jeni Matuka, Scotty Humphreys, Ty Fox, Pat Assaillit and Laurie Jones at the 40th celebration.

Dwyer Quality Homes has also supported numerous local sport clubs, surf lifesaving organisations, charity golf days and community-led initiatives.

“Many of the activities and organisations we sponsor have been chosen directly by our team members: it’s our way of giving back and supporting the activities and events that they are really passionate about,” Mr Dwyer said.

“It’s great for our team and it’s great for our community.”
